Installation Service

Retro Housing will guide you through the entire process from surveying your property and applying for RHI funding, to installation and aftercare. Retro Housing will suggest the most efficient heat pump for your home, ensuring you’re getting the best saving benefits for your property’s heating system.

Each air source heat pump installation is unique. The installation will range from approximately £7,000 upwards.

Not every home is suitable for a heat pump system. The technical survey at the beginning of the installation process is key to ensure the correct system is installed for your home.

Every home and heating use is different so the savings will vary per household. Cost savings also depend on the type of heat system the air source heat pump is replacing.

An air source heat pump produces around 40 – 60 decibels of noise. This is equivalent to your refrigerator or light traffic.

Installation time varies on a per-project basis. If insulation needs to be added to the home, where the heat pump will be placed and the unit inside the home. Air source heat pumps typically take 11 days to install.

Air source heat pumps work with different sized radiators, the on-site survey will assess your current radiators.
