With infrared heaters heat the surface of the objects, allowing them to slowly release heat over time. It’s similar to how our bodies will release heat into a cold room.
• Is infrared heat environmentally friendly?

  Yes! Infrared heat uses less energy than other heating methods, reducing your carbon emissions.
• How long does it take to heat a room?

  Since infrared heaters work by heating the objects in the room, it can initially take longer to heat but then it is easier to keep the desire ambient temperature. When first installed, it is recommended to run the heater continually until the desired temperature is reached, then use the heater periodically to keep the room at that temperature.
• Where should the panels be mounted?

  Retro Housing recommends mounting the panels higher on the wall so they can reach the objects in the room. Ideally, the panels should not be placed opposite a window or door for then the heat can escape through those areas and will not be absorbed.
